It's a rich mans world - and I got ROBBED!

Sometimes I feel like this world is all about the money. The most important things seems to be how expensive brands do you wear, bags and accessories from luxury shops, how often do you travel to a fancy destinations, how often do you change your hair in a barbershop, how often do you exercise with your personal trainer, expensive restaurants you have eaten in, the car you or your "better half" is driving and how often do you change the decoration of your house (and the list goes on).  I'm not saying that these are bad things at all, that's not the case. What I'm saying that these things are all about money, and if these things are the ones we are constantly thinking, doing and talking about, what is there left? The man with the money has the power, he rules the world, he is the point of our lives.. And many many of us wants to be exactly like that! And that's distorted, in my point of view at least! Yes, I think that money makes your life easier, but the real things that makes you happy are the ones you can't buy.

For me it really has been all about money lately.. Why? Three different times someone has taken my money from our house. The weird and worst thing is that it has happened during the school days when no one has been home. Every time I went for a cup of coffee after school, and when I went back home, my money was gone. Nothing else has been taken, only my money from my wallet and one time only half of the money inside the wallet. Apparently the thief wasn't "outsider" and no one has the key in our apartment besides me and three other girls who are living in the same apartment.. So what can I think? I changed my wallets place every time but it didn't help. And nothing else, only my money! How strange is that?! Someone may think why did I have cash in our house at the first place, but I have to have because I can't take those with me to the streets (there has been quite many robberies lately), and here it's impossible to pay by card in most of the places. I pay everything by myself and I have been working like crazy to get the money for this period in Buenos Aires. So it feels so unfair and bad that someone can do this! And I don't have any extra money: I have calculated everything very carefully.. And now, someone took 420€ from me and for me it's a lot! It's my flying tickets to Brazil and much much more.. I took a really expensive insurance when I came here, but it covers these kinds of cases only to 100€ so everything above that goes from your own pocket. I've been so angry but there's not much to do about it.. So I'm just watching the video above and trying to remember that there's much more..

After party in the pool while sun rises

The reason why I want to write this is the sunrise! We were out in a club with couple Finnish, one Chinese and one Argentine. It was really hot in the club so we decided to leave around 4am and go to our house pool to have an after party. And it was more than worth it! I love the way the sky changes its color during the sunrise. Nature is amazing! I'm so sorry that pictures can't show the same what we saw, but it was just breath taking! Enjoy :)!

Bafweek - Fashionweek of Buenos Aires

Fashion week of Buenos Aires -  Bafweek.. What else can girl ask for!? I've always wanted to go to any fashionweek but never got the opportunity. Now I did! Again, I wasn't expecting anything, because I didn't have any idea what could it be like. The place was so beautiful! It was held just next to a place called Plaza Italia.. There were many little stands and couple huge runaways. And once more I have to say that the atmosphere was incredible. I don't know how these people can be so happy, chilled out but still so verbal :D! And they are living middle of the chaos (economical and political)! This attitude is the one we all should learn! But I let the pictures tell about Bafweek :)!

I had to but this video here! This is how you should tempt the costumers come to you, this is how you do business, this is what it is all about! At first, when I walked by these guys, I laughed so badly, but then I just realized that I just had to stand there and watch them. I just couldn't continue walking! And very soon I realized that I have to buy something from them! What an influence they had on me! And I wasn't the only one... So it's not about what you do, it's about how you do it. I'm pretty sure we can use the previous sentence in any area of life. So watch and learn as I did back then :)! I'm sorry if this videos quality isn't the best, but I hope you'll get the point.  

Ultra Festival Buenos Aires

I bought the ticket to Ulta Buenos Aires 2014. I wasn't so sure what it is gonna be. I knew many DJ's playing there but that was it. The tickets wasn't that expensive (only 700 pesos for two days, which was at the current moment 65€) so I decided to go. And I really didn't know what was coming :D!

Everyone can see that we had the time of our lives there :D! By the way, this was the second day of Ultra Festival..

I have to say that this Festival was one of the best things I have experienced in my life so far! The atmosphere and the DJs made me speechless! There were no fightings, nothing I could say anything bad about. Even there were a lots of people there were no long lines or waiting. Drinks were cheap and you could take those where ever you wanted with you. Even the toilets were quite clean. Warm weather, people just enjoying the life. That's the attitude I want to see! And that's the attitude I want to have!

This is just crazy.. After this I really don't want to have the image in my head of going back to Finland :D! The point isn't actually the festivals, it's just going out there even with the risk.. The good things will come to you, for sure, you just have to work for it! I have made some really bad decisions in my life, but I don't regret them at all. Those thing brought me here! And even looking those pictures makes me smile, because I was there, I'm here now, living my life and enjoying for it more than ever. So all the pain really was worth it :)!

How can life change so much!?

When I look back my life I'm not sure if I'm dreaming right know or if I was asleep before. I still can remember all the things, all the pain and all the darkness in my life. Off course time has passed by, but still. How is it even possible, that I'm standing right here, right now in so good condition? I didn't eat any medicines, I didn't got any help from a doctor, I just did this by myself! I want to feel even better every day. I'm trying to take really good care of my body and my soul; eating well, doing sports, trying to find those things that makes me smile. I remember when I started it first time. It was way too hard because I didn't want to do anything! And now, I'm just smiling the day after day. And I'm in Argentina, Buenos Aires.

Life is a gift! It feels almost impossible to think that there were time when I though the opposite... I know it sounds like a really big and naive klisee, but you have the power already inside you, you have the power to choose to live full or just wait or not live at all... You are the one who controls your life, and if you are not, START RIGHT NOW!!! It is true! Your life REALLY can be anything you want, anything! I'm so amazed about that every day. Now, all I have to do is to remain appreciation towards life and everything in it and take care that I'll never again go back there where I climbed up. I have to remember that thoughts become things and I have to live remembering this every single day!



The beginning of the video seems a little weird, but keep looking! I think everyone should watch this video just because it SHOULD make you think :)! It's not about money or all the things you should have, it's about the state of mind. There's not such a thing that "perfect trouble-free life". But if we wouldn't have troubles we couldn't enjoy so much for the good things. Great experiences starts when you have had the bad ones :)

Tigre - River where everyone goes

We took a trip to Tigre, which is the river only half an hour by bus from the city. For some reason everyone has mentioned it (the local people, who I've been talking to). For Finnish it seems a bit weird that river can be so big deal, because all we do have is rivers in Finland. 

So one early Saturday morning we took the bus with many from UADE (Universidad Argentina De La Empresa). I think there were something like 50 persons. We went by boat to a small island where we had pool, opportunity to play volleyball, football and ping-pong. There were also place to eat and a small "bar".

 Sun was shining, people drinking mostly beer, smiling and playing. After few hours we had "asado" and we all ate together. Then we had some competitions with sports... We took part in volleyball and actually, we won one game :D! But we had so much fun, that was the main goal :)! The day was ended eating pizza in a nightclub (yeah, in a nightclub :D) and we continued to one friends house from the school. Some burned their skin very badly because of the sun. I had a hand-print in my back so I probably didn't but the sun lotion correctly :D 

Gourmet's dream come true

I've been really sick lately and it seems to start over every time I get better. I think I found the reason today; some bacteria have caused me an infection in intestines so I'm sick constantly. Well... You should be careful what you eat, but not scared. Bacteria are different in every country but I didn't saw this coming. Maybe I'll be wiser next time.. But this subject always cheers me up :)!

They say Argentina and Buenos Aires is gourmets paradise. Argentina is very well known for the meat; they say here you can eat the worlds best meat. I've tasted many kinds of beefs but nothing like here in Buenos Aires. It's just so good that there isn't words to describe it! If there would be one thing I could take with me to Finland, it would be Argentine meat! You don't even have to put a lot of spice there 'cause its natural taste is so good! And a top of it, it's ridiculously cheap! Other food I just love is fruits: fresh, juicy, tasty fruits. I doesn't matter what time of year you buy fruits, it's nothing, it's not even fruit compered what you can have here! Those small fruit shops in almost every corner (at least in Palermo Hollywood) where you can buy anything and again, it ridiculously cheap! And it's SO GOOD!

I love these fruits in here! The problem is that it seems to be the number one reason why I have been so sick lately: because in really warm country fruits and salads has totally different bacteria than in cold countries. When I get better, I'll continue eating those, good idea or not :D!
